Since Kathy Lehne, founder, president and CEO of Sun Coast Resources, Inc., opened her doors in the spring of 1985, Sun Coast has become the largest woman owned business in Texas, and one of the largest petroleum marketers in the nation.

Operating from its headquarters office in Houston, Sun Coast has been in business for 26 years, owns and operates 11 office, warehouse facilities, and currently has over 1000 employees. Sun Coast’s product line includes a wide array of petroleum products including gasoline, ultra low sulfur diesel fuel, marine diesel, jet fuel, avgas, kerosene and a full line of Chevron, Total and Mystik lubrication products. We purchase our petroleum products directly from world class major refiners. We have a modern, proprietary delivery fleet of more than 650 trucks.
Sun Coast provides prompt, courteous personalized service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Sun Coast also services 33 states with its 1.5 mllion gallons of bulk fuel storage. While Kathy Lehne maintains a close watch on Sun Coast's day to day operations, Kathy's husband Kyle, also fills a large role in the company as head of the sales and marketing team, as well as director of Emergency Response. Kathy and Kyle's three children often lend a hand at the office. Kathy enjoys skiing, running, biking, and has completed the Chevron Houston Marathon, as well as the MS 150.
Sun Coast has a working inventory of over 6,000 fuel and lubricant tanks in support of our outstanding tank loan program, ranging in size from 500 gallons to 20,000 gallons. Our massive inventory of tanks cover many different applications, including skid tanks, aviation certified tanks, emergency ISO tanks and more. We also have in excess of 350,000 square feet of office and warehouse space in nine facilities throughout Texas.
Our delivery fleet includes transports, bobtails, vacuum trucks, lube trucks, lowboys, pick-ups and roll-backs for relocating tanks and equipment.
Sun Coast is one of the nation's largest Emergency Fuel service providers, specializing in generator and on-site fueling during times of peril. Sun Coast also has a Mobile Field Command Center and a fleet of RVs for temporary housing for use in disaster response activities. Sun Coast provides fuel supply services and equipment to governmental agencies, utilities, communication companies, delivery services and other fleet operators when emergency situations, such as hurricanes, floods, tornados and other severe weather conditions and related disasters create power interruptions, supply outages, or access restrictions.
